[Missed Festival] Wreaths in Bemowo 2025 – Time Machine to Old Traditions!
Even though the Wreaths in Bemowo 2025 event is already behind us, it is worth recalling how this unique outdoor celebration brought life to the heart of Warsaw's Bemowo district. Organized on June 21 in Górczewska Park, it became a wonderful journey in time for the shortest night of the year - Kupala Night, offering visitors an immersion in Slavic tradition.
From 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the park and amphitheater were filled with the sounds of music, children's laughter, and the smell of natural products from local fairs. This annual event is not only a celebration of tradition, but also an opportunity to spend family time outdoors, full of engaging workshops such as weaving wreaths, creating amulets, or mandalas from grass and flowers.
The reenactments of the historical Slavic and Viking camp attracted history lovers, offering, among other things, craft shows, exhibitions of old equipment and the opportunity to take a photo on the chief's throne. In the evening, the fun of searching for a fern flower and fiery fire shows provided unforgettable experiences.
Although Wianki 2025 has already passed, there is nothing to stop you from planning to participate in next year's edition. After all, it is a unique opportunity to integrate with other residents, participate in local culture and celebrate the beginning of summer in the picturesque surroundings of Bemowo. Who knows what else creative awaits us next year! We encourage you to follow the next events in Warsaw and plan your city adventures as they happen!
