## Warsaw Tourist Lines: Discover Warsaw from the Perspective of Monuments and the Vistula River

The 2025 season of the Warsaw Tourist Lines is in full swing, offering residents and tourists unique opportunities to discover the capital in a new way. If you haven't taken advantage of this attraction yet, now is the perfect time to plan a weekend trip. The event lasts until September 21, so you still have plenty of time to explore Warsaw in different ways.

### Historic Trams and Buses

Of particular note is tram line 36, which on public holidays from May 1 to June 22, and daily from June 26 to September 21, carries passengers along a route full of historical delights. You can feel as if time has stood still on it—all thanks to the historic trams known as “parówki,” “stopiątki,” and “kanciaki.”

Bus enthusiasts can also look forward to the low-floor models of line 100, the route of which leads through the most important points of the city. The courses take place on weekends and holidays, and will also be available on May 31 and August 16. This is an ideal opportunity to look back with nostalgia at the vehicles of the youth of many residents of the capital.

### Vistula from the Water and Narrow Gauge

It is impossible to imagine summer without a trip on the Vistula. Warsaw Tourist Lines offer ferry crossings, including the "Słonka", "Pliszka" and "Wilga" courses, which allow you to see the city from the perspective of the river. The crossings are free and can be used on holidays from May 1 to the end of June, and in July and August—every day.

There is also a full-day trip on the ship "Zefir" to Serock, which allows you to relax by the Zegrze Reservoir. For railway enthusiasts, there are rides on the Piaseczno Narrow Gauge Railway, which runs on Saturdays. You can get to the station in Piaseczno by the historic bus line 51.

### Practical Tips

Tickets for the journeys are available in the standard Warsaw Public Transport tariff, and timetables can be found on the website: [www.wtp.waw.pl](http://www.wtp.waw.pl).
