Magical Botanical: Garden of Fairytale Illuminations – 2024/2025 summary

Although the Magic Botanical Garden: Garden of Fairytale Illumination has formally ended its yearly edition, it is worth looking back at this magical event and considering what makes it attract crowds of visitors every year. From November 9, 2024 to February 16, 2025, the University of Warsaw Botanical Garden was transformed into a vibrant land of fantasy, where light and nature created an unforgettable spectacle.

During this edition, guests had the opportunity to pass through a new, fairy-tale gate, which in itself was an introduction to the extraordinary world of the Four Elements. Countless light installations, from a majestic water fish to a blazing fire, reminded us of the power of nature and delighted us with their ingenuity. Flora, the goddess of nature, was a guide, symbolizing the harmony we should strive to maintain with the world around us.

An additional asset of the event was a family field game that engaged both younger and older participants in an interactive journey through the garden. Thanks to this, an ordinary walk turned into an adventure full of puzzles, revealing new secrets to participants at every step.

Visitors could also enjoy many other attractions – on weekends, the glass with tropical palms was open to visitors, allowing for an even deeper immersion in the world of plants. At the end of the exhibition, the organizers prepared Valentine's Day surprises, which added a bit of romantic glow to the still winter evenings.

Although the exhibition has come to an end, its charm will certainly remain in the hearts of many visitors for a long time. For those who did not manage to visit it, there is still hope for next year's edition, which will certainly bring just as many reasons to be delighted. It is worth planning a visit to the Magic Botanical Garden now, not only to admire the beauty of the light installations, but also to remind ourselves of our responsibility for nature.
