Ice rinks in Warsaw – Winter Attractions of the 2024 Season

Winter is in full swing, and Warsaw, as always, offers a host of winter attractions that attract both locals and tourists. One of the most popular ways to spend time actively in the city is the ice rinks, which have flourished again in the 2024/2025 season. If you haven't had the chance to put on your skates this year, now is the perfect time to catch up!

The picturesquely situated ice rink in the Old Town Market Square deserves special attention. Like in a fairy tale, it is surrounded by Christmas illuminations, which give it a unique atmosphere. What's more, admission to this ice rink is completely free, and there is a skate rental on site, which makes it a great place for everyone, regardless of the level of advancement. The ice rink is open from Monday to Sunday, with breaks between sessions, which allow for comfortable use of the facility.

But this is not the only location worthy of attention. There are about 20 other ice rinks in Warsaw, including those at the Palace of Culture and Science, Torwar, and Stegny. If you plan to visit one of the paid ice rinks, ticket prices range from PLN 10 to PLN 23 per session, and skate rental costs from PLN 10.

There will also be additional attractions. Many ice rinks host figure skating shows, and for fans of fun to the rhythm of music, there are ice discos. In addition, some ice rinks offer special sessions for organized groups and schools, making them a great place for unique events.

The ice skating season will last until spring 2025, so there is still time to step onto the ice and experience the winter atmosphere in the heart of Warsaw. Whether you are an experienced skater or just starting out, the capital's vibrant ice rinks are waiting for you!
