Slow Art Day 2025 – rediscover art in Warsaw

One of the most interesting art events in Warsaw is coming up – Slow Art Day 2025! This weekend, April 5 and 6, culture lovers will have a unique opportunity to slow down and truly appreciate art.

From 12:00 until the end of the day, numerous cultural institutions in the capital, such as the History Meeting House, the POLIN Museum, the Royal Castle, the National Museum and others, invite you to a close encounter with selected works. This year's edition is held under the slogan "What do you feel?" and aims to encourage participants to approach art more reflectively - it is a great opportunity to spend 5 to 10 minutes with each work to explore its meaning.

At the History Meeting House at 20 Karowa Street, on April 5 at 12:30, you will be able to see the works of Tomasz Szerszeń, Nicolas Grospierre and Szymon Zakrzewski at the exhibition "YOU AND ME. Lifestyle Magazine from the Polish People's Republic". The meeting will be led by the co-curator of the exhibition, Agata Szydłowska.

Additionally, as part of the Free Art Day, meetings with educators and specialists, discussions with other participants, and even family workshops will be held in various locations. The POLIN Museum is preparing an installation by Marek Cecuła, "ZAAM," and a family event, "Polin. Here to Rest."

The best part? Most of the events are free! It's a great chance to enjoy art at a leisurely pace and learn its hidden meanings. If you're interested, follow the profiles of the participating institutions on social media and Instagram: @DzienWolnejSztuki.

Don't miss the opportunity to slowly enjoy art and make new friends among culture lovers!
